Maureen Jasculca is a strategic communications and public affairs specialist partnering with social impact clients to inform, engage, and improve their communities. For more than 15 years, Maureen has provided strategic counsel and day-to-day implementation support for clients across sectors working to advance educational success, support arts and culture, and improve health outcomes.

Before founding MJ Strategic Communications in 2016, Maureen served as Senior Account Executive for Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications, a Senior Consultant for APCO Worldwide, and as Communications Manager of Art Design Chicago for the Terra Foundation for American Art

She has extensive external affairs and government relations experience and regularly executes successful stakeholder engagement campaigns to build brands’ reputation and advance clients’ policy and business goals. With agency and in-house communications expertise, she partners with clients to develop multimedia marketing content, secure meaningful press coverage, drive complex messaging projects, and conduct media training and crisis communications.

Maureen also serves as Co-Founder of Ignite Education, which serves K-12 and nonprofit organizations by building and promoting talent solutions that in turn support improved educational outcomes for all students. Education has always been an important focus and source of inspiration for Maureen. She’s an advocate for investing in high-quality education to fulfill every child's potential, and both as a parent and through her work she’s had a front-row seat to the positive impact nonprofit education partners and school districts have on their communities. Maureen graduated from the public school system and earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing management and business communications from The University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
